Concept Development, Visual Design & Production
This project focuses on designing Olympic pole banners that reflect the identity and spirit of the Bixby Knolls community.

What I do in this project.
I created a series of pole banners for the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association, translating Olympic themes into a cohesive visual system that activates public space and strengthens neighborhood identity.

This project explores how graphic design can shape public space through small but impactful interventions. I designed a series of Olympic-themed pole banners for the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association, transforming the streetscape into a cohesive and engaging visual environment.
Through bold color, repetition, and scalable design elements, the banners create a sense of rhythm and identity throughout the neighborhood. Each piece contributes to a larger visual system that reflects both the energy of the Olympics and the character of the community.
The result is a set of designs that activate the space and create a more connected and vibrant public environment.

Each banner draws from the colors and identity of a specific country and pairs it with an Olympic sport. These visual elements are combined with local Bixby Knolls businesses, linking global narratives to the surrounding community and reinforcing a shared sense of place.
