What I Did
As one of the Creative Directors, I played a key role in developing the conceptual foundation of the senior show, helping establish a theme and name that could represent the collective voice of the graduating class. The project required balancing individual creative perspectives with a unified exhibition identity, ensuring that the final direction felt cohesive while still allowing each designer’s work to stand on its own.
My role extended beyond visual decision-making into the organization and leadership of the overall planning process. I helped guide communication across teams, maintain project timelines, and support the development of the exhibition from concept to execution. I also contributed to the environmental design of the show, helping shape the layout and spatial experience so the work could be presented in a thoughtful and professional way.
Project Overview
The Spring 2026 BFA Graphic Design Senior Show celebrates the work, growth, and creative perspectives of emerging designers. As one of the Creative Directors, I helped translate the energy of the cohort into a cohesive exhibition experience that reflected both the individuality of each designer and the shared identity of the class.
This project required a balance of creative direction, collaboration, and project management. From developing the show’s concept to supporting exhibition planning and team coordination, each decision contributed to building an experience that felt intentional, organized, and representative of the graduating class.
I also helped expand the professional reach of the show through outreach and sponsorship efforts. This included helping secure three outside sponsors and leading the development of the show’s first Professional Hour, creating a dedicated opportunity for students to connect with industry professionals before the public exhibition.
The final result was a polished and engaging senior show that brought the graduating class together under one cohesive creative vision. The exhibition not only showcased student work, but also created a professional platform for connection, visibility, and celebration.
